I love Tuesdays for two reasons. It’s personal trainer appointment day and Biggest Loser is on TV. One of the many benefits of working out with a personal trainer is that all I have to do is show up and do what Chris (he’s my trainer) tells me to do. I meet with Chris two times per week, Tuesday nights at 7pm and Friday nights at 6pm. Lately we’ve been doing upper body on Tuesdays and lower body on Fridays. We are working on building strength by spending an entire session on either upper or lower body.
My idea for this blog is to share my daily results and spend a little time in the “way back machine” and share some of my experiences from my first 995 days in battle. The first thing I want to touch on is “morning naked weight”. I’m sure women reading this blog do not need an explanation…but here it goes.
Morning Naked Weight: my lowest weight during the day. Why is this important? It really isn’t, it’s just a number and there are much more important results to consider during this battle. My trainer actually convinced me to remove my scale and only weigh myself once a week, which I did do for a month. But I’m back to weighing myself every day…something I plan to stop soon. For now I’m going to share my morning naked weight (yes stand on the scale in my birthday suit…no shoes, no clothes and right after I use the little girls room and before I eat breakfast) with you every day until I put the scale away again. I do realize that this is an obsession and a bit ridiculous but for now it gives me a since of purpose along with driving me nutty. Until tomorrow… Kathi
